FWIW I asked Putnam a few weeks ago about FAA requirements for manufacturing embedded IFE, if certification was necessary and if Maycom was a certified manufacturer. He said that there were other Asian manufacturers that they were working with. You can interpret that any way you like but my take on it is that we are involved with the embedded system. No idea to what extent nor was I able to ascertain much regarding the embedded system.
