I never meant to imply EDig had NOTHING to do with the Digesystem, just that EDig`s role in it was not what we all have come to assume. The original concept of the embedded version of the Digeplayer was conceived by EDig but at the time no mention was made of Linux being involved..

I can find no evidence of that.....Perhaps one of you can..

It was only later, much later as I remember, that we were told that Linux was involved.... That changed EDig`s involvement from what was one of being the sole technological company and the sole provider of the system to one of us just being involved as the designer and perhaps still the manufacturer...Please correct me if I am off base here. I am not a techie as you all know.

I don`t quite know how to state I still see EDig`s fingerprints all over the Digsystem just not what we all convinced ourselves we were....A question out there for someone who might know......Whose decision and when was it decided to use Linux after EDig has designed the system, as has been posted here today? Was it before or after APS was purchased by Wencor..??
