Everything is hearsay, other than the fact that DM are involved, there's no hearsay about that.

As for removing a direct NAND flash execution process,(that LL seems to smug) we were talking about that process, in other round about terms, long before DM showed up.

At least I was.....the only thing I did not consider was to just simply remove the flash....my approach was to physically identify the type cache and size.
