Makes no difference if the substrate is trapped electron(flash).....phase change crystalline.....or what ever.

It will come down to what does it take to produce....serial architecture is the simplest...if you can get complete utility out of it, that is the way it will go.

That is what we witnessed with NOR vs NAND.....from day one, that is what it has been about.

Now just ask yourself .....NAND has it's inherent problem of READ, with that, because of its serial nature it's NO where near as utilitarian as NOR.....so why is it out pacing NOR? What happened that changed the market so?

IMO, the ideas of e.Digital did that......and because it's cheaper to produce, the path of least resistance is followed.
