LOL...stranger things have happened and in the dog days of summer I find M&A discussions much more interesting than subtle inferences that EDIG may or may not be at a conference.
Remember the 80's when they acquired everything and then took the chop shop approach ? Well at a time with companies drastically undervalued as compared to just a couple of years ago, it is the perfect time to see M&A activity in certain circumstances and build synergies rather than chop and sell them off.
While this activity is at a low currently, it is clear there are some great values to be had for those whose finances allow.
