"we should be looking into making a killer app player"
I agree, but that's easier said than done. Or maybe it already exists and is called IPhone. What would this player do? What would distinguish it in the marketplace. Would it be an evolution of the eVU? How will it compete with netbooks and IPhones?
Presumably, they will have some cash and some talented partners, maybe even Samsung, but the current eVU, for all its nice features, is almost obsolete. It needs a major overhaul if it is to survive more than another year or two.
Also, airlines will always be a limited market. How about something people would encounter and use on an airline, then buy and take with to continue using throughout their travels and even at home? Maybe it would have an HDMI port and they could download and stream videos to their hotel tv. Could be sort of an AV vault with WiFi.
Or maybe it's better to just focus on litigation.
