EDIG history-2002 – Developed proprietary content encryption technology

Irrelevant? Don't think so....any IP property is incredibly valueable since it represents an opportunity for monetization in billion dollar markets. This could be a very early view at where EDIG could be if they get their proprietary encryption technology through the patent process.

Lack of funds was the reason given for not pursuing the patent process in this area. A good question for management at the next shareholders meeting.

Cisco, Others Hit With Encryption Patent Suits

Law360, New York (July 22, 2009) -- Cisco Systems Inc. and 30 other firms are the latest to be targeted by the PACid Group LLC in a third round of suits accusing technology companies of violating two data encryption patents.

The encryption technology firm filed its suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Tuesday, seeking damages, interest and associated costs....
