You are correct. That is why I keep EDIG attorneys, aka DM, KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, which follows the original theory of EDIG and Nanully that "IF YOU PULL THE SD CARD OUT OF THE UNIT OF GADGET AND IT DOES NOT WORK, THEN IT INFRINGES ON EDIG PATENTS....

Here we have SAMSUNG coming along and claiming that they just made some gadgets and then advised their buyers go get an SD CARD to make it work, ( infringe upon EDIG PATENTS)....

Cute as the defense may be, it will not by pass the "Justice" of the case...

The infringement does not depend on who puts the SD Card in the unit to make it capable to take pictures, play multi-codec music, etc., etc., etc...

If the unit is designed and manufactured to use an SD card to have some of the foregoing capabilities, then it infringes on EDIG patyents period. And there is this tremendous history between Samsung and EDIG which should make it easy for DM that Samsung knew what it was doing and planned it in such a way they could take advantage of EDIG technology available in the Market Place without paying for its use. That, my friend is the "Infringment"in this case and DM shall prevail...

I get amused at reading all the "THE SKY IS FALLING" because we have a read of what the Samsung word smiths are saying...

Law is said to be a "RULE OF REASON DIRECTED TO THE COMMON GOOD"...And recalling that opposite views make up the reason for a law suit one should always read the parties "arguments" in the context of the FACTS of each case and ask what would be in "The common good" in the case...

I submit there is no "common good" is allowing the stealing of the wealth of this Nation as manifested by the inginuity of its people, who are the patent holders, to be pirated by Mega global conglamorates such as Samsung. And if the FACTS show, as they do, that Samsung was well aware of the EDIG PATENETS and had a long History of dealing with EDIG, and based theron they designed their gadgets to work with SD cards, then it should make no difference that those SD cards were not installed by Samsung in the units, buy on direction from Samsung they were purchased separately by the consumer and enabled the unit to "Infringe" on EDIG Tech...
