I believe EDIG will release news of this new settlement before September 18th. What is really critical is how the news is released. If we get a very fuzzy announcement as in the past, the stock will simply sit and wait for earnings.

In WSJ August 18th issue there is an article by Shara Tibken about Samsung settlement with Interdigital Inc. The article makes reference about Samsung Electonics paying royalties for licensing some technology held by Interdigital Inc. patents

Hopefully, EDIG will provide some details spelling out some facts about the settlement without violating confidentiality and yet giving some indication of a clear win for EDIG.

The news release needs to be picked up by WSJ and other news organizations to make the full impact. Hopefully Robert Putnam will outshine here.
