Is it possible everyone's spending an inordinate amount of time on the "settlement" ?

How about future royalties? Is it likely EDIG will continue to allow Samsung to use it's IP without a price? I'm talking about a real price....not some cacamamie X licensing agreement. When you ask yourself the question of who benefits from that arrangement, the answer hits you right between the eyes. For Samsung, it essentially means they can continue to "infringe" upon EDIG's IP like they've done in the past, only this time EDIG helps them do it. But wait you say....EDIG will be the recipient of some of Samsung's IP. They'll be able to use it to.....to.....uh....for.....for...uh...in.......

Does anyone here think that there'll be a royalty aspect to this settlement? I'd consider it a failure if there isn't.....unless we're talkin' a really really big settlement number.
