Kirkland & Ellis LLP is a premier law firm, one of the best if not the best in the world. Edig and DM better have their ducks in a row to go up against them. I believe one of two things will come out of this. Either edig will settle for "go away money" $5-15mil or their tech will be highly recognized via large settlement or buyout. The only good thing about going against Kirkland and Ellis is that they are shrewd enough to know when something has value or not especially in the law department. The terms of this settlement will dictate the future course of edig.
