Here is one. What if edig collected the cross licensing deals with the first infringers which increased their value to Samsung and then settled for a take over. Like LL stated everyone has an opinion and that is the purpose of these message boards. Pure speculation. I do believe Kirkland and Ellis is a very respectable law firm and that is why I highly value the terms of this settlement with Samsung.
