I’ve been thinking lately about the SHM as well. Here are my thoughts:
1. SEC rules... 18 months? Don’t know if that’s right or not, but hasn’t EDIG already broken this rule? Didn’t we go about 3 years or so without an SHM? So I tend to doubt whether this ‘rule’ really matters much.
2. I do believe however that the minimum notice which must be given is 45 days. So I could easily see them wanting to wait a couple more weeks for Samsung to be finalized and quite possibly for the digEcor matter to be decided (less any appeal - which I don’t think is that big of a concern) before announcing a date. They could announce in mid-Sept. and still hit a mid-Nov SHM with roughly 60 days notice.
3. I think a SHM date of say, 11/12 or 11/13 would be OPTIMAL and be a very positive indicator since they’d probably release the 2nd Qtr 10Q to coincide.
4. I’d also consider an offsite meeting location to be a very positive indicator.
