Samsung has gotten back to Zoran yet over the issues....lol

Zoran(a developer of integrated circuits and software products for digital audio and video compression )....supplies a controller IC to Samsung identified in the case.

Was it necessary to get a heavy due from the 7 if they are all operating under similar supplier circumstance?

Samsung gets some form of a license...but Zoran does not, nor do any of the suppliers for the other six if they operate in the same manner.

What e.Digital and DM are doing is forcing Samsung and the others to develop the IC's under their own roof and not out source, or we will go after your source. IMO, even though they settled they are still trapped.

I hope this does force some form of substantial deal with Samsung....but no buyout...lol
