"If DM is to stay on, his contingency fee may be affected by the fact that SAMSUNG may choose not to sue all of the 174 identified infringers...

What about those potential "CUSTOMERS" of SAMSUNG that may be a part of the 174 and Samsung gets them to make deals with Samsung in other AREAS using EDIG patenet infringment claims, and takes them off the list?..."

Perhaps EDIG and DM have/had plans for another group of infringers? How much is that worth?

Also, does it mean that EDIG will not be suing any other companies ( which might end up being Samsung customers) ever again?

Will EDIG be selling/licensing their tech to new or other companies ever again? Will that mean they will be in competition with Samsung who has rights to the same tech if? Samsung deals with many companies. Are those companies downstream going to be able to claim rights to license?

The terms must be very clear to be sure EDIG can still license the tech. Unless the licensing is going to be done by Samsung? How would that happen? A purchase? A partnership?

As to DM what do they want and need to get out of the way of what EDIG and Samsung may see as their mutual interests? What were EDIG's obligations to DM? That may be the obligation ( or a hint of it ) that Samsung must now meet or expand upon.
