SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - 09/30/09) - e.Digital Corporation (OTC.BB:EDIG - News), a leading innovator of dedicated portable entertainment systems and patented flash memory-related technology, announced today that LOT Polish Airlines and Air Seychelles recently selected e.Digital's Best in Class eVU(TM) portable system as their in flight entertainment (IFE) solution. The opening orders were obtained by Mezzo, the IFE service company specializing in the deployment of complete and outsourced portable IFE solutions.

"We're pleased our ongoing relationship with Mezzo has resulted in LOT Polish Airlines and Air Seychelles choosing eVU to entertain their passengers," commented Fred Falk, president and CEO of e.Digital. "Our rugged eVU was designed and personalized specifically for the portable IFE industry and features fast and simple menu navigation with an industry leading 20+ hours of continuous video playback from a single battery charge so airline personnel aren't burdened with changing out batteries mid-flight. Besides providing single-ended battery logistics, eVU also integrates the latest in battery safety features through its removable 'Smart' rechargeable high capacity battery pack."

Falk continued, "Because eVU incorporates e.Digital's many years of experience building portable products based on our proprietary digital video/audio technology platform, we can provide airline customers a wide range of hardware and software customization options, including multi-language passenger-friendly screen interfaces."

"Among recent eVU enhancements, we have added a new highly responsive touch screen option available on 7" or 8" high resolution LCD screen models featuring up to 200 GB of Hollywood-approved encrypted storage for many hours of movies, television shows, music, specialty programming and games, and many years of secure IFE use," remarked Falk.

"As full service portable IFE providers, e.Digital and Mezzo offer the most flexible business relationships in the IFE industry, working with customers to support their IFE business objectives," concluded Falk. "We look forward to our meetings with current and prospective eVU customers and showcasing our enhanced portable IFE system in Booth #2552 at next week's WAEA Exhibition and Conference in Palm Springs."
