Just wanted to keep expectations in check regarding a PACER filing related to Samsung. They aren't required to file anything this week or even next week. Doc 175 simply reported to the court that a settlement between EDIG/Samsung had been reached and Samsung had certain obligations to complete by 19 Oct 09. The completion of these obligations do not have to be reported to the court. I could be wrong but don't think so. Their next filing expected is a motion of joint dismissal no later than 26 Oct 09.

1. e.Digital and Samsung have executed a Settlement Agreement. Pursuant to that

agreement, Samsung agreed to comply with certain obligations by October 19, 2009.

2. Following Samsung’s compliance with those obligations, e.Digital and Samsung

expect to file a joint dismissal with prejudice of their claims and counter-claims against each

other by October 26, 2009.

Of course the two decisions regarding the pending motions in the digEcor case could come any day. Just didn't want folks disappointed if we don't hear anything on Samsung for awhile.
