Yesterday I wrote my opinion that EDIG/Samsung wouldn't have to let the court know when Samsung's "certain obligations" are completed. Again IMO, the court isn't concerned with the details of the settlement (which the obligations are part of), only that timelines toward the trial are met. EDIG/Samsung told the court to expect a motion of joint dismissal by 26 Oct 09. When that motion is filed and/or granted, I would definitely expect a PR from EDIG same or next day regarding the settlement. The settlement terms may or may not be identified.
