It is great that Edig has won another round. It further cements their patent and should make forth coming lawsuits easier to settle. That’s the sweet part. The bitter part could be this... If Edig is going to settle with these companies for a one time settlement, does that make them a less attractive company for buyout? It seems to me like they would be more attractive with ongoing licensing agreements. However, following that line of logic, maybe they need this first winning round to create a foundation of credibility that will make them more attractive as a purchase target. I relize there are some raw feelings here today. Please don't look at my comments as "bashing". I am just interested in discussion.
