I don't get what ZORAN has to do with the "settlement" that took place bewtween Samsung and EDIG?...

An agreement to settle denotes that both parties to the controversy reach a "meeting of the mind" respecting the best way to dispose of their claims against each other.

And I was discussing what EDIG gave up in the agreement to settle with Samsung, and expressing my view that a $2-$5 million one time payment would amount to capitulation by DM...

There was nothing that related to EDIG'S Claims against ZORAN or any of the other 174 infringing parties...
