I don't think EDIG will hire another law firm until DM has exhausted those infringers that represent no conflict of interest. Upon that time, EDIG and DM would simply part ways and EDIG would hire a new firm to go after the DM clients.

Imagine DM's position if they defended a client against EDIG's new law firm due to a conflict of interest. How could DM not recommend settlement given their knowledge of our patents and success in previous EDIG cases?
