Last night (after two evenings thanks to a 23 hr rain delay) 12 boys between the ages of 8 and 10 surprised a large number of parents’ coaches and other boys the same age. With a season record of 2-11 and facing the best team in their division with a record of 10-3 they fought hard and won by a score of 10-3 to advance to the Championship of their division.

As their coach, it was exciting to be a part of an amazing victory after a long string of letdowns and almost wins.

I can’t help but feel the same is about to happen for our little company from Poway.
