All this discussion regarding patent exchange leads us directly back to the issue of a business plan. We all know that these patents might have some value if and when the company is sold. But unless we know what the intetions of Edig's management are about the future this point is moot at this point in time. Do they do research? Do they have the capacity to do research? Are they going to relax and enjoy the laurels that their patents currently provide? How do they earn their salaries? If the latter is true, why do we need all these people around? RP and FF can manage alone the issues DM needs to delineate. So far Edig has been succesful in doing some of the things we all expected and wished. But what of the future. There is not any NDA about a business plan that the firm should provide its shareholders. At this point it in imperative that the management communicates at least this much to all of us. I am not pessimistic or optimistic until I hear what its vision about the future is all about.
