On average, How long does it take for litigation of the type Edig is pursuing to complete?

My train of thought is this... If there are 170 infringers (now 163) to be sued and the .774 patent is good until 2014. What will the be the number companies and frequency of lawsuits needing to completed by the end of the patent term? Something like 40 per year. Is that practical? I realize some companies may settle but it still seems like a lot.
