The key is the caching sequence.....

I've always noted from way back, it would be nothing more than identifying the working memory resource, in e.Digitals case a high speed cache(SRAM).....all they need do is interrupt the lead between the SRAM and the nonvolatile memory and it does the same thing as removing a memory module.
