SHM discussion.

Webcast or not, nothing is said by a BOD or general employee at a SHM that is not meant for the public.
One does not have to be a share holder to attend, just to vote, in the event an attendee did not receive the proxy material, or did not think it was important to bother or just plain forgot, so they can do so manually at the meeting, and last year two people did such.
The manual voting form requires name, address, number of shares for verification, but by the time the meeting takes place, it is a moot point to vote unless you have a zillion shares....like that would happen....
Anyone who has the idea that something will be announced that is secret, think again. If they happen to lay something on us that day, believe you me, it will be in a PR immediately following the meeting.
Setting expectations to high for these meetings IMO is a mistake. I have been to several EDIG SHM's since I've lived in the same area from July 1987, with the 1st one I went to was in 2000...I think? They are fun to go to, nice to meet the BOD members and fellow share holders, listen to the presentations and participate in Q&A, but any touchy question that comes up will not be addressed.
I do not mean for my comments to offend anyone, but it's important to be practical as to what will take place, and be prepaired not to get "the inside scoop."
At the end of the day, every day, all I personally care about is what EDIG does with the money from their IP monitization efforts, to build a bigger and better company, with reoccuring revenue from sales of eVU, new products, parterships...anything at all in addition to IP money. We are very blessed to have this IP money in the bank and in the pipeline. Using this cash along with a strong business plan, that is executed and provide guidence to the share holders via PR's etc, will solve everything...well, almost everything.
Here's wishing everyone the best.
