My point is, if we "sell" a license to an infringer that knows he stold our stuff, before we file, that "sale" or settlement, whatever we/EDIG care to call it, there would be a PR "bragging" about it right?

IMO, no PR, no such deal.

Seems to me to be common sense to toot ones horn if a company thought our IP was on solid footing and did not want to mess with the legal process from DM etc.

20 going to 19 does not mean 1 paid for our IP without a fight is my point, unless we see a license deal announced real darn soon.

It's one of those "I'll believe it when I see it thingys."
