First, it is the number of prospective settlements that make a difference; second it is the time span of distribution of benefits; Third, given this time span, Edig's business bound to grow along with the maintainance revenues; fourth, even these revenues and available tax breaks do not entice a takeover, it seems to me that Edig will try to find ways of augmenting its product line through mergers and the like.
