It was a the right concept for the time in anticipation of a huge growth market. Dell, among many other companies, had the same idea. Apple won the war however.

I wonder if Dell made the infringer list since they discontinued their MP3 player. They first looked at EDIG's MXP 100 before opting to go with another design. Those were days of huge opportunity.

Fortunately EDIG is still in the game, 10 years later, albeit via the back door.
