With that...the Ipad is all about getting connected through 3G with a sizable display.... you can set up your 3G phone to a laptop if you want to, however, the overall cost depends on how much your cellular data provider charges for airtime connectivity.

I'm not going to surf the net utilizing my phone....I have the minimal AT&T service that I've had for over 10 years now....I viewed edig/Agora once on my recent new phone...cost me 6 bucks....lol.

I know I can get a premium plan that allows me to connect with my phone...but, there are 5 other people in my home....so Comcast is it with a LAN ....at least until Verizon drives them into the ground.
