I remember sitting in Data-Base class learning how the hard drive was far superior than tape because it could access data by going to a particular sector and retrieve needed info vs tape which everything was stored sequencially, and in order insert data it had to be completely rewritten; completely erased then rewriten.
When I read what MOS does in its digital editing ability I say to myself, Damn - they achieved this monumental jump in technology for handhelds devices First.
