When you get in a vehicle these days....no matter what manufacture....your life depends on the integrity of the electronic system......that includes the wiring harness that decays with age..or was nicked on the install....creating a possible event of shot circuit...parasitic electricity spilled into adjoining circuits, among other things.
Shi% happens and there's not much to control how plastic chafes, or how crispy it gets under the hood.
I think about it every time I get in mine.....lol
I sailed through a RED light once because of a failed electric motor assist brake booster, the brushes in the motor went, burning out the fuse.....where I ended up with no breaks.
The vehicle was 2 years old, Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser.
Anyone up for drive by wire steering? No steering column at all...servos on the rack....lol
Heck, they can't even get the window regulators to last any length of time.
It's all junk
