Okay folks. Aftre the SHM I asked Fred that since they announced the second generation evu, did they have a proto type ready and available? To the best of my recollection he conveyed that it is still in the Blue print stages and locked in a secure area. They do not want to let the cat out of the bag. The Engineers were deligently working on it on a regular basis to come up with the best ideas in producing a more advanced evu using the new faster processor. The time frame for the proto type is the middle of this year. Only then Edig can demonstrate it to the airlines and have them choose the options they want. At this time there has been all kinds of feedback from Airlines of what options they are interested in.

IMO if Edig already has a working unit we would know it. If the Airlines were interested in the working model Edig would have announced it already. This second generation evu would also have to go through the FAA certification process. I think we are jumping the gun here.
