I am confused by the following statement you make:...

The arrangement with DM is that EDIG RETAINED THE SERVICES of DM on a contingency fee agreement to "Monetize", (Meaning generate cash for EDIG), their intellecual property rights that are being infringed on by at least 174 identified potential defendants...

And make no mistake, EDIG does make the "call" whether a case against a defendant is to be taken to trial, or it is "settled"...

EDIG chose well in retaining the services of DM. Although, DM tout their forte as great "Settelers" on their site, this does not equate to the conclusion that EDIG has given up their right to "Make the call", or decide, if they want to "settle" a case, or have it tried...

DM is retained for its legal expertese and their recommendation as to which way EDIG should or should not go in any case. The DECISION, or "The Call" is that of EDIG management as to disposition of any specific case...

It is only logical that one should not look at the flow of money to the bottom line from "Monetization" activity as a rising curve on a quarterly basis. Will there be a $350 MILLION income from this source, (one of the numbers badied about here), yes. Will it be reqular on a quarterly basis, NO...
