Makes sense, but it could also be a partner who plans to market in a foreign country rather than the U.S. at least initially. Many places like Japan often get neat stuff long before we do. Still, the emphasis seems to be on protected content so maybe it will be available here. Could any major studios really be getting ready to allow this sort of thing beyond IFE? They`d almost have to be involved somehow. If it`s anything to get excited about, it sure has been kept quiet.

In any event, they certainly have set some positive expectations for the near term. It sounds like some sort of launch or announcement by a partner might be scheduled for July (leaving EDIG free to issue a PR before 8/4).
