Perhaps DM is going to get part of the royalty payments of the same period of time that EDIG does. Or perhaps EDIG and DM are calculating the total settlement ( including the projected royaltys) and DM is taking it's cut upfront less any interest. That would be something like an advanced payment on an anuity, financial settlement, or lottery winning that is paid out over time. You can get 1 million over 20 years or get paid 500K today. Maybe DM is taking a position in the company to get its extra money? Who knows how they are figuring it. There are many other ways, and I am sure they have figured out something. They seem pretty smart to me.
