If they have some money laying around, invest it in a good PR program.
ADVERTISING PAYS as they say.
I may have missed it but was there a reason for not going with a PR firm?
I think I can answer your question...
Myself and others who were going to attend the SHM, discussed many topics and worked up a list of questions, in order of priority, and "assigned" who would ask during Q&A, and we did this to be within the time restraints of the Q&A session from experience at past meetings.
I was the lucky one to ask the PR question, and this is a generic response from RP to the best of my memory, "we have used PR firms in the past, and did not achieve the results we expected for the price we paid. The EDIG story needs to be told to get the word out, and I am the best qualified to tell that story."
If other attendees heard it a different way, please add too it.
I also understand from some past comments here, that RP plans to "present" the EDIG story at one or more investment conferences "later this calender year." In order to be effective, IMO, until many more settlements conclude, and other "elements" are in place, the timing of such a conference attended by EDIG is the key factor, as they need lots to brag about, to get the word out.
