Along with the prior post....

Memory cells are not all perfect where some may come bad.

One of the highlights of e.Digitals patents is dealing with this issue...and yet again it's a benefit of their data structure.

Prior to e.Digitals patents....if a cell(bit) was bad....the whole erase block was not utilized.

Because e.Digitals format is independent of erase blocks and read/write blocks.....they can nip it in the bud and get the use of that normally bypassed block.
