Personally I would tend to doubt your particular scenario, yet it's not an unreasonable or unrealistic one. Technology, products, and markets can change in ways that most might not ever imagine. Maybe you're right on.

I do agree though that something is brewing that is more or less certain. As DABOSS has previously noted, management has never talked in quite this way before.

Hopefully the wait will be over soon and it will have been worth it.
