Was there ever a time that Agora was the only act in town to control flags and banning? I'm serious, was that part of the business model when they went into business? I can see that when the company was new and had 20 or so hubs, but now there are hundreds right? How could their staff, monitor all the sites flags, research a posters habits, number of violations and what rules were being broken, 24/7....are you kidding me? Frankly, I think Agora's patience with rule breakers far exceeds what should be tolerated, and their business model is to attrack and maintain it's members, not can them...that's our job...lol.

It takes several weeks to figure out a new members "personality" purpose to post etc. How could they take the time for that, vs us members/HL's?

Richardo makes a good point though, to strive for fairness and not have people with too quick of a trigger finger to flag and maybe ban someone.

For me, and other HL's who are active in enforcing the rules know this of me, I PM many asking for a 2nd opinion, even to include flagging no less, not to mention banning somone, and that's a last resort after multiple warnigs, or if the poster returns with a new alias, he/she may get tossed a little sooner if the actions repeat.

Look back when dinkie returned dozens of times? Towards the end he did not last but a few hours if that.

People have the opportunity to change their ways if they leave by their own decision, or be banned multiple times here and the PTSC board once, with reference to the last person to exit. Lots of people have been banned on both boards, so BL was not singled out by any means. I respect what SGE1 had to say about this issue, but he is no longer a HL here, does not post, so we can handle our own play ground. The PTSC board is bickering 24/7, and that's their issue, not ours.

We have 28 HL's (sky56 left) and we have proposed to add Giants., and about 7 or 8 participate in the rule enforcement. The others don't care to be involved in it, or don't believe in it, nor spend as much time checking in as these 7 or 8, so that's just the way it is, and nobody is required to do what the more active ones do, as that's there personal business.

I like the way Agora is set up as is....
