All investments carry risk. There are people that have lost a pretty penny on lots of stocks across the board.

Those who bought Apple at 200 with projections for 300+ and then watched it drop to 80 weren't feeling too good about it at that time. Today they are hitting new highs. Those who stepped up as it dipped under 100 with endless uncertainty in the market are sitting pretty today.

At least with penny stocks you understand the risks upfront, but market forces do not discriminate.

11 years later this penny stock remains all about the patents in billion dollar markets. Those banking on that coming to fruition understand the risk.

The opportunity remains and it no longer is a matter of speculation if it could happen but is well on its way to being very real....or not.
