``There`s got to be a way to easily exchange content on the device for new films and music, but I could find no evidence of docking mechanisms. Perhaps the black brick was a removable hard drive. On bootup, the screen revealed it was running the ``MicroOS 3.1``.``

There`s supposed to be a uniquely formed physical configuration input-output...behind that an input -output authenticator....

The uniquely formed I/O....although it has a unique physical configuration..it can still use standard protocols...such as USB2 or IEEE1394(Firewire..iLink) which can be utilized for the authentication process.

Perhaps they decided to implement the wireless configuration right from the get go.

I would have if it were me....why bother with wires ?
