The question is : is a micro-SIM slot similar to a micro-SD slot? They do not have the same functions at all but they can both store data. I guess a controller is required to read/write data just as generic SIM cards. Moreover, the iPhone just CAN work without the need of a micro-SIM... So I guess the iPhone 4 (just like the iPad) is not a target yet...
