It's 90 miles...went to college @ CSULB.
Maybe you missed his point...they are not renting a booth, save the cash, but have appointments or will make appointments to meet prospective customers/partners in private, one on one meetings, which they have done before.
I have hosted countless trade show booths in my working days all over the country, and for the most part, sitting in a booth, shaking hands of passers by, dumping literature etc into the bag, does not sell a thing. The action is in private rooms, private dinners, cocktails etc, then follow-up communications when everyone gets back home.
I consider this smart business on managements part.
