South Korea Incorporated is pretty much Samsung. Last I heard it was composed of some 56 plus separate corporate enteties under the Umbrella name Samsung...

The discussion about "Guess Work" that was started by Keith related to the following two questions:...

1) How can EDIG disband its entire Engineering Department and still impliment its awowed Next Genration eVU Marketing in a highly cometative Market of the developing TABLET Computing, dominated by the likes of Samsung, Apple, MSFT, etc?...

2) Who has replaced EDIG engineering to keep them competative?

Going back down the Memory Lane I also "GUESSED" that one of SAMSUNG enteties would be the logical replacement for the folks at the engineering department which is disbanded at present.

Do you recall the dozen engineers that left SAMSUNG back in 1999-2000 and formed a separate company who do the actual widgent making for EDIG? They made Odssey, Degiplayer, and most of the products EDIG has brought to Market. And I GUESS they are involved in making of the next generation of eVU....

Furthrmore, on the eve of the Markman Hearing in the SAMSUNG case the case was "Settled" in the most unusal way, and for a strange "PALTRY Settlement" of one million dollars which was apparent and we could see.!? NOW;

1) MEZZO is in SALES; They do not have an engineering department which using EDIG TECH. can create "NEXT GENERATIONS" of eVU, or any other product which can be sold in the expanding Markets.

2) SAMSUNG was chosen as the POSTER CHILD by DM to go after a MARKMAN RULING in the FIRST ROUND. But, in the last Minute they asked the Court for 30 days time extention to implemint their "Settlement".

3) And the strangest of all FACTS is right after the settlement FISH now sits with the DM Group of attorneys...

Lawers of FISH'S stature, who bill in millions per year, and have a long list of corporate clientle do not disband their operations and joins up another law Firm on a whim. He must have seen GREAT AMOUNTS OF money to have been enticed to do so...

SAMSUNG and EDIG were hugging each other closely in the SAMSUNG booth as far back as CES 2000. 10 years later, and few days from a Judgment Day, they got back togther by working out a deal which allowed EDIG to remain a separate entity but in effect become a part of the SAMSUNG GALAXY where EDIG will be able to grow in the electronic expanding markets synergistically, utilizing the technical assemblage of expertese in the SAMSUNG empire...

ALL of ths is GUESS, but it is a GOOD GUESS and follows the logic of events that are mentioned above...
