Wireless ground connection

The TDL provides a wireless

connection, using Tri-band

GSM/GPRS or 802.11b, to the

Internet when the aircraft is at the

gate to support key management,

remote software updates, remote IFE

server monitoring, Passenger

Usage/BIT reporting, and much more.

Special Note:

Either the TDL or e.Digital will have to change their IP protocol to ensure their compatibility.

IMS - TDL uses 802.11b

e.Digital is using 802.11a (if I remember correctly)
