When they couple: "...expected timing of material events related to new business developments..."
with: "We will provide more information on business activities and developments in Company communications next quarter."
I doubt they are thinking sometime between December 25th and 31st. "Next quarter" (we have been told in the past) is a safe thing for them to publicly state with respect to any sort of timeframe guidance. They can’t say next week or next month even if they knew that to be the case. They gave as much information as they could. For that matter, there was no reason they HAD to provide any update at all.
With that, I think they WILL surprise by announcing something in October... or maybe November, but I tend to doubt December. A little speculation and a little playing the odds on my part, but one thing is for certain: if I were looking to begin accumulating shares, I wouldn’t wait too much longer.
richardo, I liked your recent posts. There’s nothing wrong with how you’re looking at it and preferring to wait for results. Your moon-shot analogy was good. If I may expand it some (assuming you remember the historical details as well as I do); would you agree that Apollo 8 is on the launch pad?
