It depends on if the speculations are realistic or have a one in one hundred chance of success.

Hate to bring up the past, but we heard a lot of we believe, we expect, soon, etc and nothing happened. Only over the last 2-3 years are those comments valid based on results.

Wild and over the top speculations doesn't help the board with regard to reality, and in general hurts or misguides any new members.

Excessive speculation is wishful thinking without adequate analysis. Why not speculate based on extrapolation of past and current events, a little more realistic and improved odds of happening.
