Not only do these "deep pocket" companies steel from the little guy, they steel from each other. There is so much of this going on in the tech world, it gives the impression to most laymans IMO to be standard practice...not litteraly but it seems that way.

Then there's the issue if it is willfully or unknowingly, and if willfully can be proven, that's when the judge/jury can slap them with that huge paddle as you put it.

Here's hoping it's willfull infringement for the really big guys.
