MSFT taking the lead, and putting out a PR that they have licensed IP from HPQ is a huge statement to the market IMO. Could it be all these competing tech companies are finally getting a clue "if ya can't beat em, join em?"

We can be sure this is not the 1st time for an event like this by any means, but look at how the PR is written! "Lets not fight...I'll pay for a license." LOL!!!

Could it be that line item of expenses that says "DEFENSE LEGAL FEES DUE TO SUITS FOR CLAIMED PATENT INFRINGEMENT" getting large enough has caught the CFO's and CEO's attention at MSFT???

Who will caugh up the next move as MSFT did?
